Molecular hydrogen enters cells and protects our DNA and genes, allowing mitochondria to produce the energy needed for growth, repair, and regeneration, improving our longevity. Molecular hydrogen is 80 times smaller than vitamin C, giving hydrogenated water a great hydration capacity and allowing hydrogen to cross the blood-brain barrier. Studies have shown that hydrogen exerts antioxidant, anti-apoptotic, anti-inflammatory, and cytoprotective properties that are beneficial for cells, preventing chronic and neurodegenerative diseases. It increases superoxide dismutase and glutathione levels, as does the Nrf2 diet. Consuming water with dissolved hydrogen improves the pathology of mitochondrial disorders. Drinking H2-containing water stimulates energy metabolism, as measured by O2 consumption and CO2 production. Molecular Hydrogen Institute. The potential benefits of hydrogen-rich water in various aspects of health, including exercise capacity, physical endurance, liver function, cardiovascular disease, mental health, COVID-19, oxidative stress, and anti-aging research, are a topic of growing interest and ongoing research. Hydrogen improves acute and chronic fatigue by improving mitochondrial function. Previous studies in ME/CFS patients reported decreases in the synthesis of ATP, NADH, and CoQ10 in ME/CFS patients. This is translatable to "long COVID" or "post-COVID," as the "sequelae" of COVID-19 can be similar to ME/CFS.

Hydrogen can also be used for the prevention and treatment of various aging-related diseases, such as neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular disease, lung disease, diabetes, and cancer. Inflammation is an important aging-related process that disrupts intercellular communication. Hydrogen also inhibits chronic inflammation, which may contribute to aging. A growing number of studies have revealed that hydrogen can protect the lungs from various diseases, including acute lung injury, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, lung cancer, pulmonary arterial hypertension, and pulmonary fibrosis. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6600250/ (2019).----

While I haven't been using this daily I must say I really, really, did I mention really like this stuff. The only way I can express it is it makes me feel good - all over. I've been using it after old injuries get flared up and it brings much of it down. I have been under the impression it was best not to use it daily, to use it on and off. On a personal note with my many old severe injuries it would be good for me to see if using it for week as expressed in article would move things up and into a desired level of relief, more long term.
