Great report! Yes, Alzheimer's is a multifactorial disease involving age, genetics, vascular health, inflammation, lifestyle, and some pollutants.
In a systematic review and meta-analysis (2025), 54 studies on aluminum exposure and dementia/Alzheimer's risk were analyzed. The authors found that aluminum could contribute as one of several risk factors, not as the sole cause.
The greatest concern is focused on high and prolonged exposures, for example, from heavily polluted water and certain industrial environments, and intense occupational exposure. The evidence is much weaker for the usual amounts found in food or cooking utensils.
If we want to further minimize aluminum exposure, the measures with the best benefit-to-effort ratio would be: using stainless steel or glass containers for cooking and storing acidic foods, avoiding prolonged cooking of highly acidic foods (tomatoes, lemons, vinegar) in unlined aluminum containers, and drinking good quality water. Overall, the 2025 research reinforces the idea that aluminum is a possible environmental risk factor, but it does not change the scientific consensus:

Alzheimer's disease has a significant environmental component for cognitive decline and Alzheimer's disease, ahead of aluminum.
1) Air pollution (PM2.5) is the environmental factor with the strongest evidence because ultrafine particles can reach the brain and promote inflammation, oxidative stress, and vascular damage with chronic exposure.
2) Pesticides, especially occupational exposure or exposure over many years, are associated with a higher risk of Alzheimer's and also Parkinson's disease.
3) Heavy metals, where lead shows fairly consistent evidence, especially if exposure occurred decades ago, followed by cadmium with moderate evidence, and mercury with inconsistent results.
4) PFAS, bisphenols, and phthalates constitute a very active area of research.

Research from 2024–2026 establishes that vascular health not only influences Alzheimer's disease but likely plays a central role in its development. Many experts believe that Alzheimer's and cerebrovascular disease often coexist and reinforce each other.
Recent findings indicate that hypertension is the most important modifiable vascular risk factor, along with diabetes and insulin resistance, smoking and alcohol consumption, and elevated cholesterol (ApoB). Conversely, physical activity improves blood vessel function, increases cerebral blood flow, and is one of the most scientifically supported preventive interventions.
An important finding: a population-based study published in 2025 estimated that up to 44% of dementia cases before age 80 could be attributed to vascular risk factors. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/55171c10e4b07ea6d281b1f1/t/68693290bc5b400d2da089c3/1751724688476/Husain+Vascular+health+and+brain+health.pdf

Genetics is one of the most important risk factors for Alzheimer's disease, but in most cases, it does not determine a person's fate. The disease usually arises from the interaction between genes, age, and other factors. Since 2025–2026, more than 80 genes have been identified that contribute to the risk, each with a small effect. Many are involved in brain inflammation, cholesterol metabolism, microglia function, and the clearance of beta-amyloid and tau proteins.
While APOE ε2, one copy of APOE ε4 approximately doubles or triples the risk, and two copies (ε4/ε4) multiply the risk much more, although this does not mean that the person will definitely develop Alzheimer's.
Hereditary Alzheimer's is very rare, but mutations in APP, PSEN1, and PSEN2 can cause early-onset Alzheimer's (before age 60–65), but they represent less than 1% of all cases. https://cru.mcgill.ca/apoe-alzheimers/ (2025)

The most recent scientific evidence is very consistent: lifestyle is the main modifiable factor for reducing the risk of Alzheimer's. It cannot eliminate the risk completely, but it can delay the onset or decrease the likelihood of developing the disease.
The factors with the strongest scientific support:
1) Physical exercise, which is the intervention with the most evidence, improving cerebral blood flow, reducing inflammation, and promoting neuronal plasticity.
2) A healthy diet based on vegetables, fruits, nuts, olive oil, whole grains, and few processed foods.
3) Cognitive and social stimulation, such as reading, learning new skills, conversing, playing an instrument, or participating in social activities, helps increase what is known as "cognitive reserve." An intellectually active life can delay the onset of symptoms by several years.
4) Sleeping 7–8 hours and treating disorders such as sleep apnea can promote the elimination of proteins like beta-amyloid during sleep.
The U.S. clinical trial POINTER, published in JAMA in 2025, demonstrated that a structured program combining these factors produced a measurable improvement in cognitive function in older adults at risk of decline, reinforcing the idea that acting on several habits simultaneously is more effective than focusing on just one.

Studies published in 2025 and 2026 are quite encouraging, although it's important to clarify that there is no evidence that a vegan diet, on its own, prevents Alzheimer's. What does seem important is the quality of the plant-based diet.
The main findings are:
A diet high in whole fruits and vegetables reduces the risk. A large study published in Neurology (2026) found that people who followed a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, legumes, coffee, and tea had a lower risk of developing Alzheimer's and other dementias. Furthermore, improving diet quality over time was also associated with a lower risk
The proposed mechanisms include reduced systemic inflammation, improved vascular health, reduced oxidative stress, improved insulin sensitivity, and increased intake of polyphenols and fiber, which also promote a healthy gut microbiota.

Refreshing to have strong research to give us regenerative pathways to create and maintain health. The behavior to focus on symptoms and ignore actual causes seems to be the lifeblood across so many Industries appearing to have carefully crafted to keep a focus on what just the one or few things they want us to focus on.
This created not just a one lane layer of society, the Rockefeller Monopoly Medical Machine with it's own Money Machine Juggernaut,, but many others who also feed into the Governments of Businesses - Financial Institutions, Oil, Energy, Ag, Chemicals, Ultra Processed Foods, Media, Education, all with a similar money machine supporting not just their selves; But to cross over to weave in and out of one another so they all add into support each other. But, until recent history, not realized or seen by John Q. Public.
This is being seen now with Legacy Media is reporting nothing to see here, move on, Safe and Effective, Saved Millions PR messaging fueled by lots of $$$$$ of the Medical Machine's deep pockets. Also supported by the Trillions in the deep pockets of all those others mentioned.
To have movement to the regenerative paths would have been unheard of just a few years ago. The negatives resulting from Reality have become to big to not see. The Deep Pockets filled with Trillions have little to any choice then to keep doubling, tripling down to attempt to hang on to the same old, same old.
With the recent testimony resulting in 111, I take the fifth suggests the machine is attempting to plead at some point, Alzheimer's. Just Say'n'
