Humanity is being subjected to a toxic soup of pollutants that cause diseases. Dangerous pollutants with endocrine health risks, allergies, etc., and carcinogens, to which we must add environmental damage.

Phthalates, like other endocrine-disrupting chemicals, can alter the homeostasis and action of hormones and signaling molecules, causing adverse health outcomes. This is especially true for babies, who are more exposed and more sensitive to its effects. Phthalates are particularly harmful when exposure occurs during certain critical time windows of development, such as the prenatal and early postnatal stages. Phthalates can also interfere with the neuroendocrine systems, causing the interruption of neuronal differentiation and maturation, increasing the risk of behavioral and cognitive disorders (ADHD and autistic behaviors, reduced mental, psychomotor and IQ development, and emotional problems) and reproductive system.

Significant interactions related to biological aging were found between specific metabolites of phthalates and the intake of dietary nutrients (carotenoids, vitamins A, B 1 , B 2 , B 6 , B 12 , niacin and selenium) that mitigated this effect. In addition, epidemiological studies have shown that the adverse effects of BPA on the neurological development of children have contributed to the emergence of serious neurological diseases such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the depression, emotional problems, anxiety and cognitive problems. disorders

Bipolar disorder (BD) affects nearly 46 million people worldwide, and 85% of children with the condition also have concurrent attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Both conditions share similar adverse human behaviors, including irritability, impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, accelerated brain, hyperactivity, and aggression.

There is a growing body of evidence supporting the link between fructose intake and psychiatric disorders. The metabolite of fructose, uric acid, initiates the hippocampal stress response and stimulates cells to secrete inflammatory cytokines. This marks the beginning of the response that shares similarities with ADHD and manic episodes of BD, such as impulsivity, aggressiveness, inability to concentrate and attention to specific details.

The increase in JMAF may be one of the reasons for the increase in patients with ADHD and BD.
