Me too, but since 2000. Never di much but have avottle of 12 year old scotch havn't touched over 40 years. I just have to work on adding choline supplements in addition to free range chcken eggs and more exercise, I have type 2 diabetes since 2000. This article really got me thinking. Would like to make it to 94, 10 years to go!

Uridine monophosphate (5'-uridylic acid or UMP) is a nootropic recommended by neurologists. Various studies have shown it to boost mood, cognitive function, learning, and memory. Uridine monophosphate:

Where would we start? As whispers how thousands of chemicals are allowed not just in our foods, but we are surrounded in a toxic sea. How do our livers stand a chance? Tylenol long promoted as a safe pain killer because it is light on the stomach, less apt to cause ulcers, can severely damage the liver in quick and short order. Interacts with other chem's, and is easy for people to overdose as it is often added to many over the counter meds and easy to miss when taking more than one med. How much is going on when there is so much not just in our foods, but across the environment, so many have a long shelf life, don't break down.

You've hit the bull's-eye. Nearly 99 percent of food chemicals introduced since 2000 have been greenlit for use by food and chemical companies instead of being properly reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration. Many of these widely used chemicals are associated with significant health risks, including an increased risk of cancer, developmental harm, and hormonal disruption.

These chemicals end up in what we eat, thanks to a legal loophole that allows foods to be classified as "generally recognized as safe." Food and chemical companies have exploited this loophole for decades: instead of the FDA determining which food chemicals are safe to consume, manufacturers decide.

We start with Doc's article and begin doing what we can to counter the effects of junk foods, toxic pollution in our environment! Problem is, can I undo harm done over the years before I saw this? We just have to do our best, help educate others to help themselves. Try to counter the effects of all being shoved down us. Wish I had known this in 2000, would be in better shape now. I did stop Tylenol, and by association, stopped other over the counter drugs along with big pharma drugs.

Choline was in the news as containing heavy metals. Please advise. Husband has cirrhosis caused by medications, epidurals, cortisone…. Etc. labs came back normal so he thinks he’s healed. Am worried this is false info, he has a bad diet.

Many are in the same boat, having believed the FDA/big pharma's lies. Only hope is convincing ourselves, loved ones that they lied to us. Help him change his diet by only cooking clean, healthy foods like organic, sugar free. That freed me of terminal lymphoma (3 months to live) in 2000. If he can't/won't make the decision himself, do it for him. When his health starts to improve, maybe he can then see for himself. Also, prayer doesn't hurt!
