If I had a reaction to Bactrim (a sulfa) should I be concerned about using DMSO?

Strontium, a mineral similar to calcium, can also reduce pain.

In the 1920, a very well respected German doctor, Dr Walter Alwens, was able to get most of his chronic pain patients off morphine by injecting relatively high doses of strontium for Parkinson' pain, pain from encephalitis, phantom stump pain, etc. (Moderate oral doses also work, but not as well.) Modern research has shown similar results.

A huge body of research suggest that strontium is totally safe at low and moderate doses, and it is sold OTC as a nutritional supplement. (The Mercola store sells it.)

After reading Dr Mercola’s thorough article, I am encouraged! Does DMSO require a prescription? If not, is there a recommended brand? I went to Dr Mercola’s Market but couldn’t find it.

I’ve had debilitating pain for 15 yrs from ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, failed lumbar fusion surgery and the list goes on.
