What a great article and what an exemplary way of life!!! “THE PENNSYLVANIA AMISH BELIEVE THAT COMMUNITY HARMONY IS THREATENED BY SECULAR VALUES SUCH AS INDIVIDUALISM AND PRIDE, WHICH PERMEATE THE MODERN WORLD.” “MANY ACTIVITIES NORMALLY CONSIDERED WORK ARE FORMS OF RECREATION FOR THE AMISH ADULT.”

Susan Hougelman, author of the book “Inside the simple life: finding inspiration among the Amish” tells us about the experience in an Amish community that led her to publish this text, where she brings us closer to the life and values of the Amish of New Wilmington, in Pennsylvania.

The Amish value God, family, and community as their top priorities. In our culture we value success, making money, and having nice things above anything else. If someone has a need in the Amish community, the entire community comes together to help. They don't need to depend on a government or agencies, they depend on each other! Families live close to each other. They take care of their elders. They do not send their elderly to nursing homes. If someone is sick, the entire community will help take care of them. For the Amish, people are much more important than things.

They have a much slower pace of life than ours. The horse and buggy help them maintain that slow pace of life. They have less stress and anxiety because they live a much simpler and slower pace of life than we do.

The reason the Amish live the way they do, with limited modern technology, is because they do not want “sin” to enter their lives. They know that television, computers and cell phones can be good, but they also know that through them a lot of stress, misinformation and anxiety enters, because they are excluded from their family life.

The women are surrounded by friends, family and children. They are very sociable and gather in their homes, eat, laugh and enjoy each other's company. They take care of each other, they help each other, they live in community!

Humility is the hallmark of Amish beliefs. Gentle and modest personalities are esteemed. Patience, waiting, and giving in to others are signs of maturity. Obedience, conformity to objectives and community activities are encouraged.

According to statistics, a significant number of Amish adolescents decide at the age of 16 to stay in the community. They love and care for each other very well and know that this is the most important thing in our world! In the link representative photographs of his life.

It is better to starve to death than to take the mark of the beast that will be required to buy and sell. At some point, even the Amish need to buy from the beast. Put your faith and trust in Christ and buckle up. The bible has predicted all of this, and persecution the likes the world has never seen is coming. The only question is where we are in the prophetic time table.

If Yuval Noah Harari were to open his blasphemous mouth while standing in the Holy place, we'd know the end is very near.
