Mercola used to sell CLA. I have a bottle. I am throwing it away. It must have been before his new found knowledge. Many still saying it is good. I have since learned otherwise here. THX.

The linoleic acid in the Ahiflower is from Omega 3s I believe. Is that the safe LA? It is marketed as such. Thank you!

What about organic flax seed oil? Loaded with Omega 3 s but, still has Omega 6’s?

What about supplement, Evening Primrose Oil, it has LA? Any thoughts on that?

Found another great resource about Linoleic Acid and all about various sources and why meat from ruminants is ok while others are not so good.

Thank you Dr. Mercola for this incredible article and carefully researched information. You have saved my life a few times. First, I did a research paper in college and it was on artificial sweeteners, yes, I had been hooked on them for a very long time due to my propensity to be overweight. And now I have found your newsletters which I absolutely LOVE! I had been on keto, lost lots of weight, but then the next time I went on couldn't lose. I kept getting sicker and sicker then went to an iridologist and had my eyes and my blood read and he said it was my kidneys. (I have tumors in my body over my liver and one over each kidney and my doctor forgets to do imaging or treat when I go to see her since she want me to do surgery for weight loss which I refuse to do. So went off of keto but the reason I went to see him is because I had NO energy... it was horrible, and I was so miserable. So now am on Fit for Life... which is amazing (I have my energy back) but it is just very hard to follow and I don't have a very stick to it attitude and despite exercising for the past 90 days have lost NO weight. :( And I NEED TO! So I am going to try this because this could very well be the answer because I do VERY well when I eat TACOS and TAQUITOS... and I love Dr. Gundry and you both make SO much sense! THANK YOU!! From the bottom of my heart!!

I've been using GRAPESEED oil for my salad dressings!! Thinking it was one of the best and I see it's almost the highest in LAs! WHAT OIL can I use for salad dressing? Coconut and Ghee just don't work, they are solids... Avocado???

I know this thread is old but, just wanted to point out that Black Seed Oil also has high levels of Omega-6 So, why is this any different than say, organic, cold pressed flax seed oil?

Well, its no wonder there is such a problem when you have Harvard actually PROMOTING the higher intake of high LA seed oils, and a high LA diet. They are actively and intentionally trying to kill us, Alex Jones was right.

We have yet to find any reasonable justification for any particular omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio. It seems to be a much-parroted myth among nutritionists. Both oxidize easily, with non-encapsulated omega-3 oxidizing even faster due to its four to six double bonds in its fatty acids (arachidonic acid, DHA, and EPA). A big No-No when remedying chronic illnesses. In contrast, saturated fats, which cannot form trans-fats by their structure (they have no double bonds) don't oxidize easily and don't turn rancid, even without refrigeration for 3-5 years. Increase ghee, lecithin, and coconut oil and cut back on all sources of other oils.

There is so much to absorb here and my husbands cardiologist would benefit from the knowledge

as he would be able to answer questions from his clients about diet rather than mumble "everything in

moderation".
