We’ve learned recently that the whole Covid rollout was a military “Countermeasures” program with big pharma acting largely as window dressing to make it appear that this was a vaccine with trials.

Dear Sandra, I hope you are able to find a new "tribe." No offense, but virtually every aspect of liberalism is based on, how do I politely say it, untruth. Hoaxid is just one example. I don't have your degrees, but I did write my master's thesis at HCA, worked in surgical sales & clinical support in about 50 hospitals, and I can tell you that EVERY recommendation coming from liberal media outlets about Hoaxid was wrong. Stay inside. No early treatment. No supplements, and on and on. This is true of nearly every topic if you're willing to objectively do research. I once met with a regional technical specialist who trained in an implant I was providing, and this same topic came up. He said he was once super-liberal and became even more conservative than I was. I asked him how that happened. He said he had decided to OBJECTIVELY research both sides of each main viewpoint and spent many months doing so. I asked his result. He said he found out that all of his liberal BELIEFS were based in feelings and hyperbole and that, in each case, the conservative viewpoint was based in scientific fact, historic fact and strong evidence. The question becomes, do you want to side with an issue based on how you feel about it, or do you want to actually solve the problems and get tangible results. Do you espouse controlled junk science based on a very well funded agenda (usually billions) or do you want to be on the side of real science wherever it leads you? With your two degrees, you should know the scientific method better than 99% of the rest of the people. And no, I'm not a republican. There are other podcasts like Dr. Mercola's who do deep research dives into truth out there like The Corbett Report, Whitney Webb, SGT Report, etc. As a liberal, you may not like what you hear, but as a graduate level research fellow, I can tell you that they strive for TRUTH and seem to hit the target about 99% of the time (no one is perfect). And in addition to the names you list above, I would highly recommend Del Bigtree and the Highwire podcast. He, too was a lifelong dem. And if you want real truth about the environment, check out Tony Heller's YouTube channel, and/or his website, realclimatescience.com. A real scientist with real, proven evidence. Warm regards, D.

I would amend your comment on liberal media to ALL MSM media was wrong. Nobody but independents were speaking out. The left/right illusion of govt has to be killed if we are to ever unify as a people. The use of left right terms only serves to maintain the division the Architects have intended. We need to identify the uniparty as our enemy, the majority of our fellow citizens know things are all wrong. Be part of the solution

Hi Everyone, I was delighted to see this article. If Dr. Mercola endorses it, I am all in! I originally learned about MB from Mark Sloan at Endalldisease.com. He recommends getting Methylene Blue from BioPharm. It's already formulated into a liquid, and he recommends 10 drops in water morning, and 10 drops at night. (For Dementia/Alzheimers) The website is www.bphchem.com, and it is pharmaceutical grade. I highly recommend it. I just started it along with my partner who is experiencing cognitive decline. I also recommend going to the website endalldisease.com to learn about red light therapy as well as Methylene Blue. It would be amazing if Dr. Mercola created a program for Cognitive Decline. I take all of Dr. Mercola's supplements related to brain health. I have read the book by Dr. Dale Bredesen, "The End of Alzheimer's" but some of the nutritional things seem a bit cumbersome. I'm ok with gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar free, but my partner loves his pasta! I get pasta from Italy, not the US. Hopefully it's better, without the gmo crap and other things the US does to wheat. But the bloodwork done by Apollo (the network of doctors recommended by Dr. Bredesen) is very comprehensive and helpful. Alzheimer's is due to so many causes, (at least 30) and this bloodwork points out nutrition deficiencies, genetics, heavy metal toxicity, etc. So, Dr. Mercola, you are the man! You've taught us so much! Please come up with a plan for us. Until then, I'll keep you posted on our experience with Methylene Blue. There is a coupon code for a discount for the MB on the Endalldisease.com website. Better yet, I'll include it now. Go to endalldisease.com/mb for discount and more information.

Thanks for all of this information. I just started listening to Dr. Mercola's podcasts and after listening to this one on MB, I wanted to learn more. I'm convinced MB is worth trying, but I am nervous about purity as I trust nothing these days!

I looked at the link to the BioPharm product and their Certificate of Analysis did not show any results for metals (just arsenic, copper, and zinc). So is there any way to know there are not metals in this?

I looked at the Compass Laboratory product that you linked to as well. Their Certificate of Analysis showing traces of lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury. I have no idea if these amounts are concerning or not!

Do you have any more information about how they test for purity so I can feel comfortable trying this, or what the safe limits for metals are? I looked at Mark Sloan''s site and didn't find any info on where to buy or how to judge quality.

Thanks for any more information you have. Appreciated!

Hi Leila, I'm sorry but I don't have the answers to your questions about testing for metals. Perhaps you could contact Mark Sloan at endalldisease.com. I just went with the provider he recommended because he seemed so knowledgeable and careful. I hope it all works out and you find a source you are comfortable with.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I think I'll spend some more time on Mark's site and get a sense of where he is coming from. One thing that always makes me cautious is when I feel like someone is trying to sell me something, which is one of the reasons I was slow to subscribe to Dr. Mercola's site. Of course, everyone needs to make money, but when they advocate for a product and then just happen to sell it, it makes me a bit cautious. And now that the world is upside down and my previous faith in "experts" has been broke, it takes me much longer to trust anyone! Thank you again!

You're welcome! I know what you mean about people writing an article and also selling the product. Mark Sloan doesn't sell MB, nor does Dr. Mercola. But frankly, I trust Dr. Mercola implicitly and most of my supplements come from him. I know his formulas are clean, bioavailable and effective! Good chatting with you!

Thanks for clarifying, Terry. I was getting mixed up between Mark Sloan and Dr. John. Are you familiar with Dr. John? He also did a podcast about methylene blue and seems to be interested in the same health topics as Mark. I looked at Dr. John''s website after listening and saw that he sells all kinds of stuff, including methylene blue, which is all incredibly expensive and that made me a bit skeptical.

As I think I mentioned, I am new to alternative medicine and just started getting into it this past year. I have become a devoted listener of Dr. Mercola's podcasts, which is how I began to develop my trust in him.

Thanks again for chatting with me, Terry. I always appreciate learning from others' experiences!

i have been really skeptical of all the sources on amazon, even the ones mark sloan/his book recommends (compass laboratory) i even went as far as buying it but haven’t used it because i’ve been too scared. a nurse friend of mine who first introduced me to methylene blue has a source for liposomal methylene blue that she was selling me but it was very expensive so i was looking for a different one. however she did warn me of contamination and to be weary of sources because they will most likely not be pure. i researched Francisco Gonzalez-Lima, Ph.D and found a website https://cuttingedgehealth.com/gonzalez-lima/ that he did an interview on and they have a source that is recommended. i feel like i trust this source far more than others…

https://cztl.bz/products/methylene-blue-powder-high-purit1-gm

their certificate shows more than the seemingly fake certificates on amazon.

i’m just surprised that mark sloan would recommend a source that isn’t trustworthy (compass lab)

would love feedback…hard to find anyone to talk about this with. i want to make sure i’m not poisoning myself….

Hi Heather, I've been taking the Compass Labs MB daily since last May and haven't poisoned myself😊 Thanks for your research. I'll check out the site you listed and maybe I'll get that kind next time. I really do wish Dr. Mercola would offer it; I'd definitely trust his!

Dr. Mercola said he will offer it, I believe in powder form, on his store site, under pets in fall, 2024. I am assuming it is USP since he is an advocate of the purest form. I too am fearful of substandard products especially since MB crosses the blood brain barrier. Heavy metal toxicity can take years to rear its ugly heady t an take years to detox, it even possible.

I've been taking MB for a couple of years and playing with dose and delivery methods. I've been making my own 1% liquid from powder as it's way cheaper than buying it pre-made. I DO NOT like taking it in water, so I put the drops in beer :) UNTIL I quit drinking a couple of months ago because I've been getting numbness in my toes and can't think of anything else that could be causing this condition. I remembered that some of the MMS protocols involved putting drops in a gel cap, so I've moved to this delivery method and LOVE it! 10 drops fits easily in a 00 capsule and I've been taking 2 caps in the PM for several weeks. I might switch things up and start one 10 drop cap AM and PM as I like to divide dosing for all supplements, in general.

Long story short: it did NOT work well for me at all.

I tried methylene blue (MB) three times, but it did not work well for me (male, 64y, Netherlands, 80 kg). I toke one dose of 20 mg on day 1, the 12th of May. On day 1 it was all fine, more energy as promissed. But on day 3, it was payback time and I felt worse than before taking it. Even worser on day 4 when I got the first symptoms of herpes zoster and got really sick from that. Acupuncture helped me recover fast.

Second try: 40 mg MB on day 1, 21th of July. Same story, only now I got Covid on day 4. More information: since the start of Covid at the beginning of 2020 (in NL) I went to work as usual, never got sick, no vaccination. no problem ever. And now I got old-school Covid on july 25th.

Anyway, then I heared MB also helps fight Covid.

Third dose on july 28th 40mg and forth dose on july 29th, 20 mg, both combined with near infra red light 30 minutes each. Same story, at first really good, but on Aug 2th downhill, and now I have bronchitis (same a in 2018).

I am no medical scolar, but could it be that MB activates inactive, infected cells, causing to become ill?

Expand full comment

I'm sorry it did not work for you. It didn't work for my mother either. I wonder if your theory could be correct. I hope you are well.

Expand full comment

Interesting...? Does MB activates inactive, infected cells, causing to become ill? That would be an important side effect!!! Did you have any other ongoing symptoms? What prompted you to take the MB? I bought a liquid does but never took it because I felt the information was too lacking of specifics about what it reacts to? Or what symptoms that are showing up that it "particularly helps in combination with"? I'm 74 and weak from covid fatigue but no other symtoms now. I had fever 101.2 for 10 days that was daunting. But no other symptoms...no chills, no diarea, no thowing up though my body didn't want to eat and I lost 5 lbs. and I'm too think to begin with. I got so weak I thought I might die. So I don't want to mess with it making me more weak or more sick!

Expand full comment

Hard to tell what is what. I had Covid pretty bad and I am still recovering. Lack of energy is now the main symptom. I think the cause of that is the Covid.

I took MB to enhance my energy and to prevend Alzheimer. The science looked really promising, especially in combination with near infrared light.

I cannot tell you what to do, all I am saying that the methylene blue did not work well for me. I advise you to dig deeper in the methylene blue matter and then make a well informed decision. Hope you get well soon!

When I read this article, I noticed towards the end it says: "taking methylene blue with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) facilitates absorption."

Then below that a few lines down it says:" ascorbic acid is a way to facilitate the cycling of methylene blue by promoting its reduction."

I wonder if taking ascorbic acid with the methylene blue would make the difference between good outcome or bad.. I saw a few comments like yours that said it didn't help--or seemed to activate inactive infective cells. Did you take vitamin C with it?

Just wondering because I'm thinking about trying this..

See my comment on detox reactions. It's important to not blame the remedy to think it caused the problems. Rather the release of toxins causes all kinds of problems if not dealt with. As some have said, detoxing is not for the faint of heart. Dietrich Klinghardt, Chris Slade, other specialists have products that address this. But easiest and cheapest is to use Sandra Rose Michael's detox bath: 2 cups Himalayan salt, 2 cups baking soda, 1 cup borax. Soak for 1/2 hour.

First thing a formerly enervated cell does when it gets some additional energy is to release the toxins it didn't have the energy to release before. Trust in the process. Detox safely.

Expand full comment

Any effective treatment can cause a Herzeimer reaction. I don't know if you've heard of Sandra Rose Michael of EESystem fame, but she stresses that when cells become activated with extra energy, the FIRST thing they do is clean house. (They have not had the energy to do this before.) So they dump the toxins inside to the outside. If these toxins are not eliminated, they can be re-absorbed. She recommends a detox bath: 2 cups Himalayan salt (it is clean); 2 cups baking soda; one cup borax. Soak for at least 1/2 hour.

Others recommend taking binders orally. In any case, make sure to detox if you are doing any protocol involving improving cellular health and function.

My methylene blue experience:

I was very excited to learn about this potential wonder drug. My mother has horrible Burning Mouth Syndrome and a small study I read suggested this might stop her pain.

My first problem was finding a place to buy it that I trusted. I was skeptical of what I found online, but went ahead and ordered from Amazon anyway. The laboratory analysis certificate did not look authentic to me, but I talked to my mother's functional medicine doctor about trying it and she thought it couldn't hurt.

The second problem was figuring out proper dosing. The researchers in the study diluted MB as a mouthwash using saline. I was unclear how to do this and reached out to both the study's main author who did not respond. I reached out to the MB expert Dr. Mercola interviewed. He said he could not advise since he is not a doctor. I asked my mom's own doctor who was also of no help. So we did this on our own.

The study advised using MB for a week and gargling three times each day. She did this for three days when she realized her mouth was feeling worse. She did not feel any positive impact on her mood or anything else besides blue mouth and lips.

Anyway, I am very disappointed. I am also wondering if the MB was even 100% pure. Given that there are so many counterfeits on the market, it is impossible to tell.

Just sharing my experience. If I were to do it over again, I would have gone to a compounding pharmacy instead of ordering online. Proceed cautiously.

And I love coffee, always feel the need for my 2 cups by late morning, but now... I'm feeling more energy and actually feel like I'm more alert. There is a huge warning I need to get out that is not in Mark's book and is very pertinent - if anyone is taking Carbidopa-levodopa for Parkinsons, it is contra-indicated for sure! As well for anyone taking Donepezil. It does something to increase serotonin levels and can increase blood pressure. PLEASE, ensure you do your homework before starting Meth Blue - thank God I told my husband's anesthesiologist prior to a procedure and he alerted to me this potentially very bad side effect. Good health to everyone!

Just info on my experience with MB: I read Mark Sloans book The Ultimate Guide to Methylene Blue, and then drank it every day per the dosing schedule on pages 112-115. I had blue urine and didn't notice anything else. I did this simply to see how I would feel, with the hopes of offering the idea to a friend with cancer. I didn't feel poorly from it at all. I bought Biopharm MB off of Amazon. I got it for a much better price than using Mark's discount code directly on BioPharm's web site.

My friend brought some MB to a naturopath who used an bio-energy analysis device to check for compatibilty of the MB and it registered as slightly less than neutral, so she took a pass on the MB therapy. This does not mean that MB isn't good for her or any one else ever, just that it wasn't indicated as beneficial for her at that point in time. Conditions and situations change.
