Intuition is often regarded as the 'gut feeling' that helps you make important decisions swiftly, and this powerful instinct can be honed even further.
In the United States, the Center for the Study of Intuition (CAI) was established 40 years ago. This organization is headed by Dr. William H. Kautz of the Stanford Research Institute. The purpose of this center is to study precisely this dimension in a scientific and valid way.
The CAI website quotes the author of “Conversations with God,” Neale Donald Walsch: “An intuitive statement is one that you know to be true even before you know why or how it is true.” “Rather, intuition is the deeper mental faculty that underlies and makes possible a variety of behaviors, both ordinary and exceptional, in which new information appears in the mind without apparent cause.”
Canadian sociologist Malcolm Gladwell, who argues that we have an ability to determine what is most important in a short time, and he called that ability intuitive intelligence. It is not about reasoning, but about listening to our subconscious and our emotions.
Since the field of Emotional Intelligence has gradually become more important, we have come to understand the great weight that emotions and sensations have in our daily lives. People are not 100% rational creatures, not at all… we are pure emotions. Desires, longings, fears, worries, sadness, happiness… We are able to obtain information just by seeing a smile, a gesture. Few things give us as much knowledge as emotions. Non-verbal communication is a great source of information that is worth understanding. As is developing our capacity for empathy. All these stimuli develop our instinct because they make us learn about human behavior.
In his book Blink. The Power of Thinking Without Thinking , the author, Malcolm Gladwell, using the latest knowledge in the fields of psychology and neurology and a fresh and entertaining style. Intuitive Intelligence reveals that those who are good at making decisions are not those who process more information or spend more time deliberating, but those who have perfected the craft of making fine connections, of extracting a few really important factors from a network of variables in just a fraction of a second. This is what Gladwell calls, echoing psychologist T. Wilson, our adaptive unconscious.
Malcolm Gladwell calls these processes “Blink”, moments in which people, thanks to our intuition, reach quick conclusions, through our previous experiences and associated emotions. People have a large amount of information and sometimes, stress, anxiety or an incorrect way of concentrating, prevents us from being able to “intuit” things.
Intuitive intelligence is based on the knowledge that we have accumulated over the years and that is well stored in the unconscious. And this is something that intuitive people know very well. Below the threshold of our consciousness, a preselection mechanism takes place that is responsible for examining the different options and deciding which ones will reach consciousness.

Intuitive Intelligence would be like a mechanism for decanting alternatives, where our previous emotional experiences are fundamental. In the 80s and 90s, studies were carried out with nurses, doctors and businessmen who had many years of experience and it was proven that their first intuition almost never failed. https://ve.scielo.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1315-62682007000200007 .--- https://psychology-spot.com/intuitive-intelligence/ .-- https://biblat.unam.mx/hevila/FronesisMaracaibo/2007/vol14/no2/6.pdf .-- https://philpaper s.org/archive/ISEUUI.pdf .--
