Super interesting look at teh timing mechanics. The leucine surge differential is what really caught me here because most people just focus on total daily protein and miss the whole absorption rate angle. I've expereinced this myself where post-training meals with higher fat definitely left me feeling more sluggish vs leaner options. The 0.8g per pound recommendation aligns with what actually works in practice too, way above the standard RDA that clearly doesnt account for active training loads.
